Cliff Blank, Director, Artism
“The New Westminster Youth Ambassador Team has been an amazing source of support at my Artism workshops.
They were punctual, courteous and professional. But most of all, the friendliness and warmth they shared made all my students feel welcomed.
I can’t wait to have them back to help us create something new!”

The NWYAS has my support as it includes any youth in the city. I have been impressed with their community spirit – which seems to be the focus of this organization.
Although they develop their individual skills, I view them as a team who are not competing against each other. Rather, they are working together.

As a long-time supporter of Arts, Culture and Heritage in New Westminster, I am proud to sponsor an organization providing young men and women the opportunity to learn about and be immersed in their community.
Being active residents of our community and contributing to the growth and development of our city is vital. I see the New Westminster Ambassadors as a group focused on encouraging youth to be engaged in their community as leaders and mentors for their peers.
I’m thrilled about the establishment of the New Westminster Youth Ambassadors Society (NWYAS). My constituency office reaches out to the community by hosting events throughout the year, and we have been fortunate to have the NWYAS bring their abundant energy and enthusiasm on many occasions. Lynn and Bill Radbourne have shown great leadership in coordinating this great group of talented young people. With the New Westminster Youth Ambassadors as up-and-coming leaders in our community, the future of New Westminster looks extremely bright.
